The State of Israel is both shocked and dismayed by yesterday’s defamatory press release circulated by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, particularly by its slanderous title.

The title chosen by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is misleading and a blatant lie.

As to the content of Special Rapporteur’s remarks, they do not deserve our reaction. We wish to remind everyone that Mr. Falk has been rebuked by the United Nations Secretary General on numerous occasions for his inflammatory and obstructive remarks several times in the past.​
