COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE REPORT OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL

The only way to resolve all pending issues between Israel and the Palestinians, including the settlements issue, is through direct negotiations without pre-conditions. Counterproductive measures, such as the report published today, will only hamper efforts to find a sustainable solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
The Human Rights Council has sadly distinguished itself by its systematically one-sided and biased approach towards Israel. This latest report is yet another unfortunate reminder of such approach.

La seule manière de résoudre toutes les questions en suspens entre Israël et les Palestiniens, y compris sur la question des implantations, passe par des négociations directes sans conditions préalables. Des mesures contre-productives, comme le rapport publié aujourd'hui, ne feront qu’entraver les efforts visant à trouver une solution durable au conflit israélo-palestinien.
Malheureusement, le Conseil des droits de l'homme se distingue par son approche unilatérale et systématiquement partiale à l'encontre d'Israël. Ce rapport récent est le dernier rappel en date de cette triste approche.
