In the distorted world of the HRC so-called human rights experts who signed the press release issued today, facts and professional integrity have no place.
In line with their long standing practice, they have once again absolved the Hamas terrorist organization of its actions, doubling down on their objective of delegitimizing the State of Israel.
Israel’s investigations and Palestinian testimonies have already clearly indicated that the said mass graves found in the area of Nasser Hospital were dug by Gazans themselves before Israel's operation, whether it was in an institutionalized manner or by the residents themselves.
In their latest statement, HRC “experts” have once again chosen to ignore Hamas's systematic militarization of health facilities and civilian infrastructures in the Gaza Strip, voluntarily and actively using the population as human shields.
Israel also categorically rejects unsubstantiated allegations of sexual assaults and violence. As previously stated, Israel remains ready to investigate any concrete claims of misconduct by its security forces when presented with credible allegations and evidence.
In issuing such a statement, the signatories try to create an alternative narrative, parroting the agenda of a terrorist organization that is actively destroying the lives of the Palestinian population in Gaza. When will these “experts” condemn the firing of Hamas on humanitarian convoys and infrastructures, such as yesterday's attack on the Kerem Shalom Crossing?
Israel will continue to act in Gaza in accordance with its obligations under international law, to end Hamas terrorist capabilities and return the 132 hostages still held in Gaza.
