Khaled Yousef al-Jalahmah was appointed this past Tuesday by His Majesty, the King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, to serve as Bahrain’s first ambassador to Israel.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry signed off on al-Jalahmah’s appointment in March, following last year's agreement between the countries to normalize diplomatic ties.
