Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman left on Sunday, December 4, to attend the
18th Ministerial Council of the OSCE (Organization for Security & Cooperation in Europe) in Vilnius, Lithuania and to attend a meeting of the Israel-Russia Joint Economic Committee in Moscow.
In Vilnius, FM Liberman will attend the OSCE conference and participate in a meeting of representatives of the Mediterranean states. Liberman will also meet informally with other foreign ministers attending the conference: John Baird (Canada), Sergey Lavrov (Russia), Edgars Rinkēvičs (Latvia), Elmar Mammadyarov (Azerbaijan), Uri Rosenthal (The Netherlands), Erkki Tuomioja (Finland), Audronius Ažubalis (Lithuania), Nickolay Mladenov (Bulgaria), Gombojav Zandanshatar (Mongolia), Iurie Leanca (Moldova), Paulo Portas (Portugal), Carl Bildt (Sweden), and also with Emmanuel Zingeris, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament.
In Moscow, FM Liberman will head the Israeli delegation to the Joint Economic Committee, where cooperation between the states will be discussed. Liberman will also meet with Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov.
