Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this morning (Tuesday, 9 October 2018), at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov, who has arrived in Israel for the discussions of the mixed Israel-Russia economic committee. The two discussed the continued advancement of cooperation in medicine, science, construction and agriculture, and the issue of progress on the adoption agreement.
 
Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized the importance of the link between the two countries and of the continued dialogue regarding threats in the region based on common interests.
