    The Chief-of-Staff briefed the Security Cabinet on the status of the implementation of the multi-year "Gideon" plan and noted the processes that have been carried out in the IDF.

    The Security Cabinet, today (Wednesday, 10 October 2018), was briefed by IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot on the status of the implementation of the multi-year "Gideon" plan and its contribution to the emergency preparedness of the IDF under determined and approved reference scenarios.
     
    The Chief-of-Staff noted the processes that have been carried out in the IDF with emphasis on the ground forces, training, fitness, readiness and personnel. The data that were presented indicate progress in implementing the plan according to the timetables set and approved by the Security Cabinet.
