PM Netanyahu meets with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu

    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this morning (Tuesday, 17 October 2017), in Jerusalem, met with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu; Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman also attended the meeting.
     
    The meeting mostly dealt with Iran's attempt to establish itself militarily in Syria. Prime Minister Netanyahu told Russian Defense Minister Shoigu, "Iran needs to understand that Israel will not allow this."
     
    The issue of the Iranian nuclear agreement was also raised. Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Iran will have an arsenal of nuclear weapons within 8-10 years if the deal is not changed.
