Dialogue between Israel and Germany on issues of cyber foreign policy and cyber security policy

    For the first time, delegations from the Government of the State of Israel and the Federal Government met in the Federal Foreign Office for a dialogue on issues of cyber security policy and cyber foreign policy. The conference focused on the cyber security architecture of both countries and a comprehensive exchange of information and opinions on current issues and developments in cyber diplomacy and international cyber politics.

    The inter-ministerial delegations, emphasized: "In view of the multitude and intensity of the threats which our states are experiencing from cyberspace, close cooperation is of paramount importance in the interests of the national security of our states and, above all, the protection of their critical infrastructures. Israel and Germany are already working closely together to strengthen national and international cyber security. As part of our open and fruitful dialogue, we have identified further areas where we will deepen our bilateral cooperation. This also includes the opportunities offered in both markets for security solutions developed in Israel and Germany. "

    The delegations agreed to continue this dialogue.
