President Rivlin meets with US Judiciary Committee delegation

    President Reuven Rivlin this afternoon (Thursday, 12 March 2015 ), met with a bi-partisan US Congressional delegation led by Rep. Robert (Bob) Goodlatte. 
    The delegation was made up of seven lawmakers, Republicans and Democrats, who are members of the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.
     
    The President welcomed the delegation and noted they were visiting during a unique time in the run up to the general election.  The President stressed the importance of Israel’s relationship with the United States, and the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
     
    Rep. Robert (Bob) Goodlatte, who led the delegation, thanked the President for his warm welcome, and said the delegation was made up of representatives from across the United States, and from across the political spectrum, indicating the depth of the relationship between the American and Israeli peoples.
