Deputy FM Hotovely to meet with Czech FM Zaorálek

    Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely will meet with Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Lubomíer Zaorálek tomorrow (Monday 8 June 2015) in Jerusalem.
    Deputy FM Hotovely and FM Zaorálek will sign a working holiday agreement under which up to 200 visas will be issued annually to young people from both countries. 
    The MFA’s Consular Department promotes agreements of this type with a host of countries. Similar agreements have already been signed with New Zealand, Australia, Germany and Korea.
     
    The agreement enables young people aged 18 to 30 to reside in the other country for a full year, allowing them to become acquainted with its people and ways of life and work at the same time. 
    The agreement represents a significant enhancement of the bilateral relationship between the two countries, and will also strengthen ties between the two peoples and encourage mutual cultural recognition that will open the way for further cooperation.
