    Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman will leave on Thursday, March 20, 2014 on a visit to Greece.

    In Athens, FM Liberman will meet with Greek President Karolos Papoulias, Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, President of the Hellenic Parliament Evangelos Meimarakis, Minister of National Defense Dimitris Avramopoulos, and Minister of Public Order and Citizen Protection Nikos Dendias. During the course of the visit he will also meet with the heads of the Greek Jewish community.

    FM Liberman notes that Israel and Greece have enjoyed close relations in recent years, reflected in a significant strengthening of ties in the areas of security, economy and tourism, and he intends to continue to strengthen them.
