President Peres meets with Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans

    President Peres, this morning (Tuesday, 18 June 2013), at his Jerusalem residence, held a diplomatic working meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans.
    The two discussed strengthening bilateral diplomatic relations. The Dutch Foreign Minister expressed to President Peres the importance of John Kerry's initiative to restart negotiations and the Netherlands' support for the two state solution.
    President Peres thanked Foreign Minister Timmermans and said, "I thank you for your support and am grateful for the excellent relations between Israel and Holland."
    Foreign Minister Timmermans conveyed an invitation from Dutch King Willem-Alexander for President Peres to visit the Netherlands.
