Any act of terrorism is shocking but I'm especially saddened when the victim is an innocent little girl who was sat at home. I wish Noam a full and speedy recovery.

President Shimon Peres, today (Sunday, 6 October 2013), addressed the terrorist attack which occurred yesterday evening in Psagot during which 9-year-old Noam was shot and wounded.
In a statement to the press at the President's Residence he said, "Firstly I want to wish a full and speedy recovery to Noam. There is no doubt that she is a victim of a terrorist attack. We have not yet found the perpetrator and are still searching. Any act of terrorism is shocking but I'm especially saddened when the victim is an innocent little girl who was sat at home. I felt it was right to express my personal shock and of course we all await the results of the security investigation into this difficult incident. Until then I wish Noam a full and speedy recovery."
President Peres spoke by phone with Noam's father, Israel Glick, and asked him to pass on to Noam his wishes for her recovery. President Peres said, "Please tell Noam that I wish her well, a full recovery and my empathy for the suffering she is experiencing." President Peres spoke to Israel Glick about how he was, about Noam's condition and about the incident itself. The father thanked President Peres for his warm words and said, "Noam is in recovery and we hope that she returns to herself soon." He then told President Peres about the incident and said, "We tried to act in the best way we could and we hope to return to our regular life soon."
