Israel-Greece governments summit

    On Tuesday, October 8, 2013, the first Government-to-Government (G2G) meeting between the governments of Israel and Greece will take place in Jerusalem. The Greek delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, who will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, as well as Ministers of Homeland Security, Energy, Education, Culture, Tourism, Shipping and Development. The meeting crowns the special and upgraded relationship that has developed between the two countries over the last three years.

    The G2G summit  will consist of meetings between the Prime Ministers and working meetings between the Greek minsters and their Israeli counterparts. Ten bilateral cooperation agreements in different fields will be signed. The summit will be closed with a plenary session in which ministers from both sides will report of the progress in cooperation   achieved in their domain.
