    Nearly 1,000 fencers from 45 countries came to Jerusalem to compete in the European Cadet and Junior Championships, held on February 22 to March 4, 2014.

    Young enthusiasts of the elegant sword-fighting sport tell what they love about Israel and Jerusalem, from the food to the weather. But mostly, they enjoyed meeting their Israeli counterparts and raising the profile of their fast-paced martial art.
