Once hidden to all but the most experienced divers, the grottoes at Rosh Hanikra are now accessible to any visitor due to the new cable car. Located on the Mediterranean coast in the Western Galilee, on Israel's northwest tip, the natural caves formed by sea action on the soft chalk rock are a magical sight. As the waves rush in and out of the caverns, they create a sound-and-light of water and shadow.

The ride down the white cliffs of Rosh Hanikra, on one of the steepest cable cars in the world, is short but the views are unforgettable.
