Eilat, Israel's resort city on the shores of the Red Sea, is listed as one of the top 10 world
Destinations on the Rise by TripAdvisor in their 2017 Travelers' Choice Awards. Eilat is the only city in the region that made it to the Destination on the Rise list.
The Herods Vitalis Spa Hotel which is located in Eilat was also ranked by TripAdvisor as the
no.1 hotel in the Middle East and the 25th best in the world.
TripAdvisor explained their choice saying “Charming Eilat is one of Israel’s most popular resort cities. Nestled at the Northern tip of the Red Sea, Eilat’s warm, clear waters are a huge draw for divers, while the reefs of Coral Beach Nature Reserve are perfect for snorkelers. Above sea level, the ancient copper mines of Timna National Park are begging to be explored, as are the shops, bars and restaurants of the seaside promenade”.
