With no cancellations and an increase of 250 riders from last year's race, close to 1000 riders, including 58 professional international riders from abroad, participated in the three-day event that journeys through biblical landscapes and breathtaking views. Epic Israel is designed for mountain bikers who love the hours on the saddle, the spectacular views of nature and are challenged by the long routes.

Epic Israel offers riders an exciting and challenging route, with safety and reliability issues paramount. The adventurous mountain bike tour was fully marked throughout, and included feed zones, bike maintenance stations and medical help stations along the way. Riders covered between 90-120 km a day with between 1500-2400 meters climbing, on a marathon route which was both varied and exhilarating. The routes passed through Mount Carmel in the north of Israel, passing through Zichron Yaakov and the Baron's Estate, as well as further south to the nature reserves of Horshan and Alonei Itzhak. The route also included fun single tracks in Mishmar HaEmek Forest.

Epic Israel 2016 has been scheduled for September 29, 2016.
