Specialized teams are discussing the establishment of a joint fund of approximately $40 million to promote cooperation between Indian and Israeli companies as well as technological development.

A 10 year bond issue abroad totaling 1.5 billion Euros was finalized. The successful issue indicates that international financial markets are expressing great confidence in the Israeli economy.

GDP growth in 2013 is expected to be 3.5 percent. The forecast for GDP growth in 2014 and 2015, excluding the effect of natural gas production, was revised upward.

Data that became available this month indicate that the growth rate of the economy is stable, and there are even signs of some recovery in activity.

A fund will be established within the World Bank and funding will be provided for background surveys for tenders, international projects and activity in Africa, India and China.
