Launching ConnectIL - Big problems, small solutions

    Holder of a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Berzin is the Founding Director of the Institute for Renewable Energy Policy at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya (IDC). He is also an affiliated scientist at MIT, where he worked on a NASA-sponsored project, developing bioreactors for the international space station.

    Berzin's work in sustainable biofuels and climate change has won international acclaim and awards: he is the recipient of the Frost and Sullivan Award (2006), Platts Global Energy Award (2006), and American Society of Competitiveness Awards (2005, 2006, 2007).

    ConnectIL is a dynamic database of people who are representative of Israel’s creative energy.

    Each person on this database has agreed to represent Israel's innovative, creative and entrepreneurial spirit to groups,missions and individuals who are visiting Israel. ConnectIL is a joint initiative of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kinetis, and is updated continuously.
