Cochlear implants allow Palestinian children overcome deafness

    Thanks to the dedicated team of physicians at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, many Palestinian children have undergone cochlear implant surgery allowing them to overcome deafness.

    ​Meet Mohammed, a young Palestinian boy, who is able to hear for the first time thanks to sophisticated technology and the work of the dedicated team of physicians at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.

    Mohammed is just one of many Palestinian children from the West Bank and Gaza who have overcome deafness after undergoing cochlear implant surgery at this Israeli hospital.

    Hadassah Ein Kerem, a renowned beacon of co-existence, has a diverse staff that includes dedicated Israeli and Arab medical professionals.
