Gaza Strip land crossings weekly status report-29 August to 4 September 2010

    Following the Cabinet’s June 17 decision, Israel has increased the capacity of the crossings by 210% so that  250 truckloads may enter the Gaza Strip on a daily basis.

    During the month of Ramadan, the crossing will operate until 15:00, following the PA's request.

    DETAILED CROSSING ACTIVITY

    Overall, 1,080 truckloads (24,711tons) were unloaded at the crossings.

    Erez

    112 Int. Org. staff members entered Israel.
    123 Int. Org. staff members entered the Gaza Strip.
    311 patients and accompanying individuals crossed into Israel and the West Bank.

    Kerem Shalom

    883 truckloads (17,001 tons) were imported to the Gaza Strip.
    1,004,483 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for the power plant were transferred.
    656 tons of Cooking Gas were transferred.
    250,750 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for transportation (UNRWA) were transferred.

    Karni Conveyor

    197 truckloads (7,710 tons) were imported to the Gaza Strip.
