Gaza Strip land crossings weekly status report-August 15-21,  2010

    Following the Cabinet’s June 17 decision, Israel has increased the capacity of the crossings by 210% so that  250 truckloads may enter the Gaza Strip on a daily basis.

    During the month of Ramadan, the crossing will operate until 15:00, following the PA's request.

    DETAILED CROSSING ACTIVITY

    Overall, 1,055 truckloads (222,849 tons) were unloaded at the crossings.

    Erez
    115 Int. Org. staff members entered Israel.
    212 Int. Org. staff members entered the Gaza Strip.
    255 patients and accompanying individuals crossed into Israel and the West Bank.

    Kerem Shalom
    904 truckloads (16,755 tons) were imported to the Gaza Strip.
    951,251 liters of heavy-duty diesel fuel for the power plant were transferred.
    741 tons of cooking gas were transferred.

    Karni Conveyor
    151 truckloads (6094 tons) were delivered to the Gaza Strip.
