    A Member of Knesset since February 2009, Tzipi Hotovely was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in May 2015. On May 20, she met with Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

    Tzipi HotovelyTzipi Hotovely was born in Israel in 1978. She completed National Service as an Emissary of the Jewish Agency in Atlanta, Georgia USA, and as a guide for educational programs in the Rav Kook House in Jerusalem. A member of the Israel Bar and a doctorate student in law at Tel Aviv University, she holds LL.B. and LL.M. degrees from Bar Ilan University. Hotovely is married.

    Tzipi Hotovely has been a Member of Knesset since February 2009, serving among others as Chair of the Committee on the Status of Women, as well as being an active lobbyist.

    In March 2013 she was appointed Deputy Minister of Transportation, National Infrastructures and Road Safety and in December 2014, also Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Space, serving until May 2015.

    In May 2015 Hotovely was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
