Israel’s representation to Guyana is through Israel’s New
York Embassy to the Caribbean, which also covers seven other Caribbean States. Guyana’s embassy to Israel is also located in
New York.
Ties between the two countries have been growing stronger
each year since Israel and Guyana established diplomatic relations over two
decades ago. In 2013, bilateral trade
reached nearly 4 million US$.
Ever-increasing numbers of Guyanese professionals travel to
Israel for advanced courses in a number of fields, including agriculture and
public health.
